Tax Incentives:

  •     ADA Small Business Tax Credit-Businesses with 30 or fewer employees or $1 million or less per year in total revenue can receive a tax credit for the cost of accommodations provided to an employee with a disability. This credit covers 50%        of eligible expenditures up to $10,000 (maximum credit per year of $5000).
  •     Work Opportunity Tax Credit- employers that hire individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds can receive a tax credit of up to $2,400 per individual hired.
  •     Barrier Removal Tax Deduction- The Architectural Barrier Removal Tax Deduction encourages businesses of any size to remove architectural and transportation barriers to the mobility of persons with disabilities and the elderly. Businesses may claim a deduction of up to $15,000 a year for qualified expenses for items that normally must be capitalized.

  •     After an individual is hired at a location ALTEC job coaches work with you in training your new employee to meet your specific needs
  •     We monitor your employee, making sure they understand your company's policies and procedures until you are confident all jobs requirements are met
  •     ALTEC professionals maintain an ongoing relationship with you and your employee. When you see that your new employee is ready to take on additional responsibilities, ALTEC is ready to provide additional training.
